media primed with acid-free acrylic gesso and stretched over

3/4" kiln-dried wood stretcher bars.  A finished pet portrait or

horse portrait painting is coated over with varnish to protect

the painting and glass is not needed.  Canvas portraits are

available in many sizes and prices.

  You may have a single or multiple pets or horses painted on

a canvas or drawn on a pencil portrait.  A photo of the pets or

horses together or single photos are fine for a art portrait. 

Background can be scenery or just plain and the color.  It is
